Town Hall Meeting This Wednesday Night


U.S. Congressman, Mike Thompson will hold a town hall meeting this Wednesday night from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Redwood Acres in Eureka.
My friend Bill sent this:

I would like to go to this.Any single payer supporters who want to go but don't have rides please email me and I will try to help arrange a ride. Need a sign? I will try to get you a sign that speaks your truth. It is time for us to stand up for everyone among us who desperately need health care.have a peaceful day,Bill.

I also have a nice Single Payer sign from the California Nurses Association that says Single Payer Now.
If anyone wants to take it to the meeting, contact me tomorrow at the radio station 442-2000.

    That said, we are working on broadcasting the town hall on 1480 am here in eureka via Humboldt Access. When confirmed, I will make it an offical post tomorrow.

  4. Medicare? That's socialized insurance! Sure you get to keep your doctor and go to the local hospital and stuff, but do you realy want the government involved in your insurance?

    Well, maybe if you live in a flood plain and they are the only ones that will sell it to you.
