  2. Is this what we asked for? Is there anyone out there that likes what we have from Senator Max Bacus? I say, if the House can't get this fixed, and force the Senate to include a public option that keep's the insurance companies honest, this thing should be scrapped.
    The Republicans aren't going to vote for this so why are the Democratic proposals being taken off the table? If there is no bipartisan support for this horrible bill, why shouldn't the Democrats just adopt the House bill 3600 and do this the right way. If they don't, many of us won't vote for either party again. I say if we can't get this done, we need to enact Instant Runoff Voting. San Francisco has this. It is the only fair way to get a third party elected.
    This handout to the insurance industry is disgusting and needs to be changed or stopped.
