Specter looks to revive 9/11 suits against Saudis

By Chris Mondics

Inquirer Staff Writer

In a sign that the bitter litigation between victims of the 9/11 attacks and the government of Saudi Arabia is far from over, Sen. Arlen Specter yesterday introduced legislation that would overturn court rulings barring lawsuits that contend the desert kingdom helped cause the terrorism.

Specter (D., Pa.) said the legislation would clarify that lawsuits by U.S. citizens could go forward without a sign-off from the State Department.

  1. Hi Tom,
I've wondered lately where all the questions about the attack have gone. Not that long ago people where up in arms about certain facts that made a person wonder.
Like what was a member of the Bin Ladin family doing at the Bush's ranch in Crawford on the very day of the attacks. What was the deal with George W's behaviour on that day. Where is the plane that supposedly hit the pentagon and why did Cheney personally prevent the fighter jets from taking off on that day.
What gets me the most, is there are taxi drivers in prison with no charges. And they are there just because they come from the same place as the attackers. And here we have all these very wierd connections between the Bush family, along with other Neo-Cons, and the Bin Ladins, and yet they scream bloody murder if you suggest that they should have to answer some questions.
Some say that "Loose Change" is saying all their investigation was a "prank". Pretty darn hard to believe. In fact, most of the story requires that a person suspend all forms of critical thinking.

  2. Moviedad, I couldn't agree with you more. The fact that Arlen Specter would be bringing this up is also interesting. He is the one responsible for the single bullet theory in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

I didn't have a lot to say about the events of 9/11 until I did a story on kgoe about Dr. Stephen Jones , a Physicist and Archaeometrist, of Brigham Young University.
We got phone calls that went to the top of our company and back to me. I simply told my boss that a professor from BYU saying these things about the World Trade Center collapses was news and he agreed.

It is hard to find people willing to put their careers on the line to report the truth. I hope Mr. Specter is trying to make up for past digressions. He is a person that holds a lot of power and can do much to keep the questions about 9/11 alive.

The original flight manifests from American Airlines and United Airlines did not include the hijackers. The TSA and FBI never said which members on those manifests were actually hijackers. Everyone seemed to be accounted for except for the hijackers. I discovered this after the flack about the Stephen Jones story got me interested in the subject.
This raises the questions, 1: How did the hijackers get on the planes without a ticket or a boarding pass? 2: How did they do it on so many planes on the same day?
3: What happened to the Black Boxes?
4: Where is the airport video tape of the hijackers in the airports?
5: (Unrelated to the hijackers) Why did the 9/11 report not mention the 42 story WTC7 building that fell that afternoon that was not hit by a plane.

This event changed history and we have done little to learn how and why.
