THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON OR TONIGHT.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

A SERIES OF STORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA THROUGH THIS
PERIOD. AFTER LIGHT RAIN ON SATURDAY...THE FIRST LARGE STORM IS
FORECAST TO SPREAD MORE SUBSTANTIAL RAIN...AND HIGHER ELEVATION
SNOWFALL...INTO OUR AREA SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. ADDITIONAL STORMS ARE
THEN EXPECTED FOR MUCH OF THE WEEK AHEAD. LOCALIZED FLOODING IS
POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION...THESE STORMS ARE FORECAST TO PRODUCE
STRONG WINDS BOTH OVER THE WATER AND LAND.

Rose is already on this.  It is good for the drought but not good for people with roof damage  from the earthquake and those that like electricity. She says get your generator ready.

  2. So far, no real thunderstorms here near Trinidad.
    Lots of wind and rain though.

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that this series of storms will not do that much damage here on the north coast. I base it entirely on the fact that news guy J.B. Mathers, is back in town.
