Alaska Horizon Air Quits Humboldt County

J.B. Mathers is reporting that at about 1 pm today, Horizon Air informed employees at the Arcata/Eureka Airport that the airline would stop flying in and out of Humboldt on April 16th.   10 local employees will loose their jobs.
People that have tickets to fly after that date should contact the airline at 1-800-alaska air or on line at http://www.alaskaair.com/

This leaves United/Skywest as the only passenger air carrier left serving the local airport.
