ReplyDeleteMy guess is that it will prove that US 101 between Arcata and Eureka needs a trail.
ReplyDeleteWhen the stated objective is to "SHUT DOWN THE 101 SOUTH" a trail wouldn't make a difference. People intent on stopping vehicle traffic would simply bypass the trail and use the highway. This is confirmation to me that a trail is a bad idea. Pay all of that money to build a trail in the middle of a depression and for what? For people to use the highway anyway, just to annoy everyday working people. Arrest 'em and get 'em out of harm's way.
