House Republicans Vote Tomorrow On California's Water Problems, Governor Is Against Federal Involvement

House Republicans have decided to stick their noses into California's water woes tomorrow as they vote to roll back endangered species protections and salmon habitat rehabilitation efforts in order to  send more water to some California farmers.

Our local Congressman, Jared Huffman offered an amendment to the bill, HR. 3964 which would leave some of the hard fought environmental gains around the Sacramento Delta in tact. That is likely to be removed by the Republican led house though.
