St. Jude Children's Research Hospital/Bicoastal Media Radio-Thon In Full Swing

In Eureka and Crescent City Ca. 5 radio stations are currently raising money over the air for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
Call 1-800-942-8771 to donate by phone.

Long time radio personalities, Rollin Treahearn of KRED 92.3 FM, Pete Meyer of KFMI FM, The Rock & Roll Burlyman, Dana Hall at 105.5 FM KKHB in Eureka Ca. are joined by personalities at KPOD and KCRE in Crescent City for a two day 26 hour radio fundraising marathon.

For more about what St. Jude Children's Research Hospital does see this.

Last year the 5 stations raised over 150-thousand dollars in our small markets for research that will save lives and possibly find cures for some of the cancers that surly will arise from the Fukushima nuclear power plant meltdown. Other health problems may be caused by the increased use of GMO crops in our food which allows for farmers to soak our food in pesticides and herbicides without killing the food. You see the food is modified to withstand being doused in chemicals shortly before harvest which makes life easier for farmers. With luck, these doctors and researchers will be able to modify either the diseases like cancer or our bodies so that they can withstand this onslaught of things that trick nature into killing us.
