Chicken in Old Town

Gas prices got you down? There is an alternative. Old Town Carriage Co. is up and running in Old Town Eureka Ca. People enjoyed carriage rides through Old Town as music filled the air from the concert at the end of F. Street. Marty & Michele L'Herault are the owners of the carriage and can be reached at 608-588-4638 or at

Rollin Treahearne and Pete Meyer are seen at the door of their mobile studio.

The Madaket made a stop, right next to the concert. Word has it, the genuine antique harbor cruise boat has the smallest legally licensed cocktail lounge in the state.

Chicken and The Defenders rocked the boardwalk this evening in Old Town Eureka. Chicken does a real mean Janis Joplin as well as well as other great cover tunes and even some originals.

The 10 week Summer Concert Series has 8 more free concerts to offer to the public. They are every Thursday from 6 to 8pm at the F. Street Plaza.
