  1. I am by no means, a country music critic. That said, Saturday night's show was a barn burner.

The Delta Nationals opened the show. They got off to a mellow start with the first few songs suitable for people finishing their dinner at the BBQ. Things picked up about halfway through their set and people were dancing and getting ready for the headliner.

Rooster McClintock went on about 11 pm and opened with cut 4 of their new C.D. "Never Let On". That's the song, the name of the album is "Gold Teeth For A Dead Horse".
Never let on is a straight forward country love song with big vocals, lots of dynamics and the word sorrow in it.
From there the night just got better.
There was a good turn out and they ran out of beef hotdogs. I tried the elk, it was great.
There was tri tip and beans and other stuff as well as some great local beer.

The event seemed to be a big success and the band is just fantastic, that is really what I think... oh, by the way...which ones rooster?
