Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley said today that all the medical marijuana dispensaries in the county are operating illegally, and that "they are going to be prosecuted."

The speech I heard from Cooley stated that they would be going after clinics that are profiting from sales.
ReplyDeleteI don't know this to be a fact but I hear that the clinics are not allowed to purchase their Mary Jane which means they must cultivate their own. They are also not supposed to profit or purchase from the Mexican drug cartels. (Geography lesson: Mexico is closer to LA than Humboldt) Anyway, there were more clinics in some neighborhoods than liquor stores.
Also, "THEY"(LA County or FDA) tested the toxicity of the marijuana and discovered high levels of pesticides ban in the U.S. as well as "other chemicals" suggesting that the vast majority of the "medicinal marijuana" may be hurting people more than it is helping them.
