Bergeron Winery Coming To Trinidad

The Washery (laundromat) that used to be in Trinidad went out of business more than a couple of years ago now but was replaced by Oshun Yoga. For some reason the Yoga thing didn't work out and now that store front sits empty awaiting some eager entrepreneur to try an make a go at another business.

Just a couple of doors down from the now defunct yoga shop near the Trinidad Post Office, where a hair stylist used to be, a public notice to sell alcoholic beverages sign occupies the front door of the vacant store shop. Like yoga and dirty laundry, Trinidad didn't seem to have a need for a hair stylist either. My aunt believes otherwise but none the less, it has created the opportunity for yet another small business to occupy the limited real estate available in Trinidad Ca.

While the three businesses before had no local competition, the new winery will. Moonstone Crossing already offers wine tasting in Trinidad. Perhaps it will be like multiple car dealerships or restaurants and attract even more people than having just a single outlet. The theory for that is hey, more to choose from.

Bergeron Winery is a family owned winery in Adolphustown Ontario Canada. I don't know what possessed them to open a wine tasting outlet in our little town but I wish them success.

  1. You might have your wires crossed, the wine is produced in Trinidad.

  2. We may get quiet in the winter, but tourism is booming like crazy here now.

  3. Thanks for clearing that up Anonymous. A local product is even more cool. I had just googled the name and came up with a family owned winery in Ontario Canada. Do you know if they are related in any way?

  4. Tom, thank- you so much for featuring our soon to open wine tasting room. This is locally owned by Bergeron Winery not Bergeron Estate Winery that you referred to and we are not related in anyway. For those who are not familiar with Bergeron Winery we were established in 2007 in Trinidad. Bergeron specializes in making a Bordeaux style Cabernet Sauvignon. We also have Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay. I see you just corrected the information on your Blog. We look forward to presenting our wine for everyone to enjoy. Again thank-you. Peggy Bergeron

  5. Thanks Peggy for the correction and update! I will have to stop by and taste some when you get open.

  6. I am trying to find somewhere where I can purchase a Bergeron wine for a Christmas gift (my name is Bergeron also and I want to make a gift basket with Bergeron wine, Bergeron cheese, and Bergeron pecans. I can get the pecans in Louisiana. Still trying to find the cheese and a place that ships wine to OH, TX, VA, NC. Thanks, Deborah Bergeron, Thornville, OH

  7. I found your website the other day and after reading a handful of posts, thought I would say thank you for all the great content. Keep it coming! I will try to stop by here more often. To get new information visit here

You can get the next event’s idea with a great arrangement from a site.It can be followed with a full satisfication. women gift baskets
