More DNC Emails Show Press Working Against Sanders

The New York Post
By Mary Kay Linge

Democratic Party bigwigs enlisted prominent media outlets to slant coverage to boost Hillary Clinton and sandbag Bernie Sanders, according to some of the 19,000 e-mails hacked from the Democratic National Committee’s servers and posted to WikiLeaks.
The messages reveal behind-the-scenes meetings and off-the-record exchanges between DNC operatives and staffers at newspapers, networks and news Web sites, including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, MSNBC, Politico and RealClearPolitics.
In one case, an investigative reporter at Politico gave DNC officials a sneak peek...

Bernie Sanders Campaign Manager Responds To Emails Showing DNC For Hillary Clinton

There is a march for Bernie Sanders tomorrow in Eureka Ca. and all over the country. The Eureka march starts at 10 am 825 5th. Street at the Humboldt County Court House. The event will go until Noon.
That said, Sanders' campaign manager has responded to new information learned from leaked emails on Hillary Clinton's email server.

From The Hill.com
Bernie Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said “someone needs to be held accountable” for what was revealed in the leak of internal Democratic National Committee emails this week
“We spent 48 hours of public attention worrying about who in the Trump campaign was going to be held responsible for the fact that some lines of Mrs. Obama’s speech were taken by Mrs. Trump,” Weaver said in an interview with ABC News. "Someone in the DNC needs to be held at least as accountable as the Trump campaign.”
Some emails posted on WikiLeaks show an effort to undermine the Sanders campaign.
One email from the DNC press secretary suggested creating a narrative that the Sanders “campaign was a mess.”

And then there is also this about a lawsuit just filed against DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz for rigging the primaries.

Tesla Electric Car Charging Station Due To Open At Bayshore Mall Eureka California

Construction is continuing on an 8 terminal electric charging station for Tesla electric cars.

Current Eureka locations are available here at this link.

The 8 new charging stations can be found under this sign at 3400 Broadway (US 101) in Eureka Ca. and should be open sometime in the next few weeks. I called the people at Tesla and spoke to a few different ones but nobody there knew when these new Eureka charging stations will actually be on line. That doesn't speak well for the company. Nobody there seems to know when the completion date for this construction project. I told them that I would have to be vague and they didn't seem to mind.
So in conclusion, someday if you drive a Tesla you will be able do go to the link above and find this site also listed. Until then, this is all sort of vague and could in fact be a backup rocket landing site for it's sister company Space-X.  I just made that part up but since nobody seems to know, it is as plausible as just about any other explanation though.

Man Made Food Gets A Pass From The President

RT.com has the story about such US Senators as Dianne Feinstein from California and Al Franken from Minnesota that supported this law that allows for Monsanto to be able to experiment without any public recourse through the US Courts.

Here's an excerpt:

The US government has for the first time signed off on a large-scale experiment involving genetically modified crops, which will lead to biotech big shot Monsanto introducing an engineered corn seed across America from South Dakota to Texas.

The Monsanto Corporation has been given the go-ahead to test out a man-made corn variant that they claim can thrive in dry, unfavorable conditions. With much of the American south and southwest experiencing abnormally arid conditions, the freak-seed could revitalize a chunk of the nation’s agriculture.

More likely, however, is that a success will mean revitalization in terms of Monsanto’s profits and not much more.

The government has agreed to let Monsanto test out the biotech crop on farms owned by the company from the state of South Dakota down through Texas to see if the seed stands to be commercially viable; if so, it is expected to be made available for purchase in 2013. With America’s small-time agriculturists in danger — and already largely threatened by industry giant Monsanto — a success for the seed could see yet more farmers finding themselves unable to compete and forced to throw in the towel.

Monsanto has in recent years attracted criticism for questionable legal practices after it has introduced lawsuits against small-time farmers for the unauthorized use of genetically-modified crops patented by the corporation. In many instances,

Are Our Elections Rigged?

Social media is full of memes and stories about how Hillary should have gone to jail for the so called e-mail scandal that isn't really a scandal.  There are the stories about Trump allegedly raping a 13 year old girl. Another how Trump solicited campaign donations from foreign leaders which is illegal.

I have been saying that there is a different standard that some high level politicians have than the standards that apply to you and I as normal US Citizens. Bush and Cheney seemed to have committed war crimes but they haven't been prosecuted or even charged. Finally an investigation done in England may have triggered an investigation into George Bush's handling of the Iraq war. It now seems clear it was a war of choice for Bush and Blair. Maybe they will actually get to the bottom of it. A CIA agent was outed to make their case for war but only Scooter Libby went to jail for that.

Just some observations about how things got this way:

1. The United States is not a democracy.

2. Our representatives represent those that give to their campaigns, not their constituents.

3. Most of our votes are counted in secret by source code owned by private corporations. The voting machines are owned or leased by tax payers but the source code that counts the vote isn't.

4. The exit polls that had been to verify our elections stopped working when these machines came on line.

5. Out of 58 counties in California alone, only one county had election results that matched the exit polls and that county was Humboldt. The odds of that are astronomical. Humboldt not only has a way to verify our voting, we check a decent sample every time just to make sure.

6. The US State Department still uses exit polling to determine if foreign elections are valid. Any election off by more that 2% from the exit polling is considered suspect for fraud.
(This is actually an example of why exit polling works, it just means that our voting system is broken because some places in the US primary election were off by more than 12%)

So in conclusion, I feel that arguing over who did what, or who got the most votes or even whether or not our elections are rigged is moot. We have no way of knowing whether our elections are rigged or if our votes are even counted in most places in this country. What the country needs is standardized federal elections. One source code for all the machines and simple instructions for the secretaries of state to pass on to the county election officials of how to properly check the machines for accuracy and calibration before the elections. There should be one hotline for elections officials to call to get help with technical matters and that's it. Outsourcing our most cherished right as US Citizens to private corporations which in turn count our votes secretly is one of the stupidest things this country has ever done.

I'm not saying that our elections are rigged but there isn't a person on the planet that can prove that they aren't.

Contractors State Licensing Board Stings Eureka Last Month!

Do you know if the contractor you hired is a licensed contractor?

Eureka! CSLB Cites Unlicensed Contractors on North Coast

10 required to answer charges in superior court after being caught in state sting operation

SACRAMENTO – Reports of unlicensed contracting activity on the North Coast brought the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) to Eureka last week, staging a one-day sting operation on June 21 that cited 10 persons on illegal contracting charges.
https://us.vocuspr.com/Publish/2440879/vcsPRAsset_2440879_93272_3269dca8-ee80-4899-be33-fd3703f1ca07_0.JPGMembers of CSLB’s Statewide Investigative Fraud Team (SWIFT) conducted the sting at a house near the Bayshore Mall with the assistance of investigators from the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office. It was easy for investigators to come up with a contact list of suspected unlicensed contractors in the area – the local listings of Craigslist were full of ads from those offering to perform home improvements that typically require a state contractor license.
Quotes were sought to install a new electrical panel and receptacle, do exterior painting, or replace sections of fencing. The highest bid received was $6,700 to paint the exterior of the 1,200 square foot house. In California, a contractor license must be obtained to perform construction work of $500 or more in materials and/or labor.
Ten persons who turned in bids that exceeded that state cap were cited for contracting without a state license (Business and Professions Code (BPC) section (§) 7028). Of those 10, seven face an additional misdemeanor charge of illegal advertising (BPC §7027.1) for failing to state in their advertising that they were not licensed.
CSLB Registrar Cindi Christenson noted that CSLB stages sting operations year-round in all parts of the state, including areas such as Eureka located away from major population centers.
“People who compete for construction work that requires a license shouldn’t think CSLB won’t go the extra mile to stop unlicensed contracting,” Christenson said. “California’s a big state, but we cover a lot of ground. We surprise a lot of unlicensed contractors in out-of-the-way locations.”
Those cited are scheduled to appear 8 a.m. August 22, 2016, in Humboldt County Superior Court, 825 5th Street, Eureka, CA 95501 (MAP).
NOTE:  All suspects are presumed innocent until their case is resolved.

Thief Steals From The Dying

The Lost Coast Outpost had this story with a video showing some (alleged) scumbag wheeling off with flat screen TV's that belonged to Hospice of Humboldt.

This is the lowest of lows. I took a couple of screen shots from the video and blew one up to get a better look at the guy. If you recognize this dark sad person, please contact the Eureka P.D.
